^ Haha.

I understand what your saying Wasupdu but that was taken a little far IMO. Personally, my comment would have been a simple reference away from the windscreen and then comment about the heated seats and heater blastin at 30 degree weather. I do the same thing, if the storm dosent have a name then the top goes down. Its just not that big of deal to get worked up over.

Cheers.

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread.

Does the center mount for your windscreen stay put? On mine even after cleaning and degreasing the plastic on the center console, the 3M VHB tape absolutely refuses to stay on.

Once you remove the center mount, you have to replace the 3M tape. BTW, you can get by without the center mount. I removed mine recently to replace the Z4 part that the center mount attaches to. I contacted RoadsterSolutions to ask about removal and reinstallation, and they told me I had two options; (a) replace the 3M tape, which can be found at WalMart, Pep Boys, etc., or (b) leave the center mount off. He mentioned the new Z4 windscreen does not have the center mount. So I've left mine off. I do feel the windscreen vibrating at high speeds - OK, very high speeds. But so far, no problem.
