DISA valve flap broke - some questions.
My 07 3.0si coupe has been running like garbage recently so I decided to check on how my beloved disa was doing. It was not doing well
I am wondering:
Thank you |

1. Its okay for the disa to be absent, but you might lose a little drivability.
2. It is a common location for the chip/crack/breakage 3. Yeah i agree with 3002tii, i would just pay for a brand new unit in your situation to ensure that the disa will last for another 100k+ miles. |

There is a pretty inexpensive repair kit for both DISA valves on Ebay actually, just do a search for N52 DISA repair kit (Make sure you order the correct one, LARGE or SMALL). I did it on my N52 330xi and it worked perfectly fine. Way cheaper than a new DISA valve.
