I learned myself years back with my old TT Quattro and a millimeter of snow on the road with summer tires on, it was the scariest driving experience i ever had cause you could not stop nor could you turn. people did not understand why i walked too work the first few nights we got snow in Chicago this past year as i was waiting on my Blizzak's to come in (bought the car in late Nov,08). all i told them is if they ever drove with summer tires on even the slightest cover of snow they would understand. i told them i rather walk 5 miles tonight in 20 degree weather then attempt suicide |

No one wants to hear "I told you so"...so perhaps you may wanna put your winter tires back on. Regardless, I feel horrible that you've had an accident, but in our cars I've learned that it's rare to have a minor $$$ accident. Hopefully you'll prove me wrong.
