Big Brake Kit- Looks like Rotora is now in the game
For Z4M...competitively priced. No idea how this compares to the usual big guys Brembo, Stoptech, Alcon.

(coming from the "JDM" scene)
i would never ever ever trust rotoras at all. they are cheaply made brakes with no r&d (no matter what they say) behind them. would never trust my or any of my friends lives with them, especially on the track where i have seen them (the calipers) seaparate first hand. |

I was just doing some reading about them on the E46 m3 boards and it seems for every hater, there is somebody who loves them. Plenty use the on the track. Stoptech seems to be the clear winner but it comes with a price. Also, it seems Rotora makes a kit for E46 M3 that works with our stock rotors where front/rear kit are aound 2200 total. I wonder if they are going to make on for our car/

i wasnt insinuating that you were gonna buy them, just giving my opinion
still wouldnt trust them. its like the people who think "megan racing" makes quality parts in which they do not. countless times i have seen their pads separate and fail, rotors crack and sheer, and calipers leak/freeze/just plain stop working. i also dislike the fact that they claimed to be a japanese company who builds products "in house", when in fact most if not all of their parts are made in china. when i look for BBK's, i look mainly for caliper/rotor design and another important thing: pad selection. i believe brembo is more universal in having a greater amount of pad selection vs rotora in this sense. just my $.000000000000002 |

but you know how it goes, it only takes 1 bad report/experience to offset 5 good reviews.
regarding how they make something already for the e46 m3 that fits stock rotors, do you really think you need to beef up the caliper that much? at that point seems like it's more for show. not knowing how it affects brake biase on, lack of "r&d" (based on the post above), i'd be really hesitant to slap these on. |

I think the z4M has awesome brakes from the factory. if there was a component I wouldn't change, it would be the brakes. Do they fade that bad on the track?
