Soft Top Care?
Hi all,
New to this site, have a 2008 3.0si roadster, does anybody have any recommendations for the best way to take care of the soft top? Right now mine is very nice, dark black, and I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks to all who share insights.

RaggTopp seems to have some good stuff. I hear 303 is good too but I have not tried it. You may want to check something like this out.

BMW also offer a cleaner and a waterproofer, I have both and they seem to be working well

Glad it was helpful!
I like 303 because it is pretty high tech but also very gentle. What I'm REALLY excited about are all the companies working on superhydrophobic stuff. I figure in 5 years or less we'll be able to coat our tops with this stuff and never have to worry about anything.

Right now they only offer translucent white. But if they start offering black, might be worth to get a paint shop to mask the car super carefully and apply it to the top after cleaning thoroughly. Would be pretty amazing to not have to worry about the top at all for a long time.
