Does your interior light turn on when you pull on the door handle?

Does your interior light turn on when you pull on the outside door handle when the car is off and locked up?

Can someone drain your battery by repeatedly doing so?

I wasnt sure on this so just checked-car locked- light does NOT come on when door handle actuated .

Mine also does not come on when the car is locked.

Even if the light did come on when pulling the door handle, do you really think someone is going to spend many many hours, even overnight just pulling on your door handle to try to drain your battery?

Do have allot of enemies

The light is only going to stay on for a few minutes and it would take a minimum of 10-12 hrs to drain the battery so if someone wants to stand at your car and lift the door handle every few minutes for 10-12 hours they can drain your battery.

If you have someone that motivated to do you harm, a dead battery is the least of your worries.....
