An official HELLO!! at last!

Sabine is in the garage

So far I have only driven 50km and it has been pissing down here the whole time (erm that's "raining quite a lot" for the unozified).

Gotta say this car has easily exceeded my wildest expectations.

Thanks to all for your knowledge and support through the last 4 months of painful waiting - you guys helped keep me sane.... -ish.

I'm not taking her over 4500rpm for a while, but geez, there's no immediate rush - there's so much power on tap below that it's ridiculous. The handling even in the wet easily surpasses that of my AWD Subaru, so much so that I have a renewed confidence in wet driving.

I'll keep y'all posted and get up some pics as soon as weather permits some nice ones.

Hello All! I traded my '04 Z4 3.0i two weeks ago! I finally got a triple black Z4 M Roadster with premium package and heated seats. I love it even thoough it hasn't been broken in yet. It's nice to find so many Z4um people here.

Hi all,

I have owned a 2004 z4 3.0i for a couple of years now. Today, I went down to the dealership and picked up a new 2007 3.0si with all the trimmings (well, I didn't get the headlight washers). They're going to detail it on Monday and I get to pick it up after work. I'm really excited!!!

I'm really curious about the auxiliary jack: do people find its good enough for hooking up an ipod?

I can't wait to post a picture of it (oh yeah, got the silver with gray top).

Ron - Congrats on the new Z4. I just added the aux jack to my ///M. It works fine for me, but... I am no audiophile being half deaf in one ear. I guess it depends what works fine means for you.

Mine was a little loose...I only used it once and the whole panel almost fell out when I unplugged it.

Hi from another ex-Z4UM fan - I have the aux input in my Z4M (retrofit) and also my wife's new 130i Sport we picked up last Friday and both work just great - looking forward to this alternate forum!
