'04 E85 Z4 OEM Clear Lens Kit

Through the forums i found out that BMW makes an OEM Clear Lens Kit (side, rear tails, and 3rd brake light) for the E85 Z4. I inquired with Jason @ getbmwparts, however it is now discontinued and no longer available for order.

Does anyone know where I can get a set of these? I found them individually online however the price pieced together is way more than the kit.

PN 63210151626

Any help would be appreciated!

I was interested as well, and your thread motivated me to write an email. I spoke with the ever awesome Mike at TheBMWPartStore.com and he confirmed no stock at his place and the system *shows* (he noted it might not be 100% accurate, so confirm before ordering) one at TheBMWPartSource.com, a dealer parts department operated online by one gentleman named Patrick.

Let me put it this way, with only ONE potentially left, I'm not going to order from Patrick, based on past experience with him as a vendor on another forum....take that for what you will....

After making multiple calls and emails, Chris @ Circle BMW directed me towards Faulkner BMW (Lancaster, PA) as their system showed they had 1 in stock. Just called today and placed my order for the LAST 626 retro-fit kit in the USA (I made sure they went and physically found the part too)

Now I just need to buy red-tint film to customize the tail lights once I receive them

Congrats on finding the kit. I bet the dealer is glad to have it off their shelf as I would wager it was sitting there for a while. Did you get a discount, or was it full retail?

Will post pics along with the Rpi red ram scoop I purchased.

I got the kit at a discount price 20-25 off retail.

My 2005 3.0i has clear marker in the headlights, clear fender side market lights, the clear turn signal lights in the tail lights and the clear 3rd brake light. I just assumed it was stock, no? The car was owned by a 50 something women before I purchased it and she was the original owner so I doubt she modded it. I hated the clear 3rd brake light, it didn't flow well on my black car so I recently bought a red one.

They did away with the orange from 2005 and onward.

I'm unsure where the clear third brake light fits in, but I'm pretty sure that some cars came with them as stock.

I wish I had clear markers in the headlights. I plan on doing the tekcarbon mod at some point, however since my Z4 is my daily driver I wont be able to do this mod until I pick up a beater

Didn't look at bulb colors. Just placed the order for the retro-kit PN 63210151626. I have no idea what bulbs will be coming in the kit. I will post pictures when I receive.

I bought clear side markers from LeatherZ and some 2005 tail lights used off this forum from "fercho" who did a facelifted bumper conversion. I sent my headlights to Tekarbon and had the amber smoked dark, which I do recommend. The light output is reduced, but the amber is virtually gone. I think the addition of the side markers on the Z4 makes it very obvious which way the car is signaling. Even without them, the smoked signals would be fine on their own.

I have found no other way to do an amber delete without going to a new set of headlights.

For anyone interested, here's a quick iPhone pic of the dark smoked amber from Tekarbon (lights off, angel eyes only). The car has an M bumper conversion.

It took about a month from shipping to return due to the holidays. If you decide you really want them done, you could pick up a set of Spyder headlights and resell them to the next guy in line when done.

Do those cheapo headlights work with the stock Xenon headlight setup?

Got the kit in this monday. waiting on some warmer weather to wash the car and put the side and 3rd brake light in. Still debating whether to tint the rears or not (I'm not that great at cutting circles with an exacto knife)

I know you're still around pokey. What happened to the picture? I was wondering what the difference between stock housing vs. painted matte black housing looks like and I came across this thread.
