You'll be disappointed with the 3.2 after this car, but I get it. Best of luck with sale!

Thanks for the correction on location - fixed! Why do I always think Tennessee...

And yeah... I've held onto it this long because it's real hard to figure out what I'd really want to change to . Even this car is a lot to really push hard on public roads (and I don't make it to the track often enough), so I'm not real interested in something with higher performance. 911 is at least a very different car to learn.

no worries I kinda geeked out once upon a time about the factory. Grew up in Charlotte NC when the factory broke ground everyone in my German classes had aspirations of work there being a stones throw away. There’s a great thread somewhere with the link to the factory tour National Geographic did about the z4 production. But be warned if you watch it now you might get second thoughts about selling it and a new found appreciation of why you’ve kept it for so long already.

I'm moving in your direction regarding street cars too. Anything more than 300 HP is difficult to truly exploit on public roads unless you live in the middle of nowhere or don't mind jail time. Hence my recent purchase of a ~175 HP Caterham.

993's (I think that is what you're looking at) are going up in value very quickly though. You may want to expand your search to include some of the earlier air-cooled cars. Several earlier vintages are a bit easier on the wallet and should come pretty close to providing the same driving experience.

Garage List
Only 367 non-nav Z4MC's? That figure sounds way off. I looked it up years ago and it was nearly a 50/50 split IIRC. That said, non-nav is a HUGE plus in my book - when I bought my second it was an absolute requirement. GLWS!

KevinC master list of NA VINs is here (found it on the forums long ago. This is the file I used to find my car in the first blace - just filtered Blk/Blk/CF no nav and googled all 95 VINs):

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...f=true&sd=true

wdb 3.2 Carrera is 1984 to 1989, before the 964 (and 993)
