tried everything still getting CEL....

just finished installing a new e.g. t . sensor and after clearing the code I'm still getting code 2c9c for the get sensor. I have my o2 sensors and get sensors relocated but wtf? my the bungs were welded up incorrectly .... I also have the ess tune but the damn light is still there. ESS never answers or calls me back so I have no idea how to move forward here.

Just posted a thread with the same issue in general forum. I did not relocate rear O2s, but have EGT in same location as stock headers, with Epic tune.

However, looking at the document I have with codes listed, 2C9C is a pre-cat O2 heater input signal bank 1 code.

I've been gavin this issue ever since it got cold.... in the summer it was fine. I don't know if this is in anyway related. Also I am using a re-welded stock section 1 so maybe the positioning is less than tolerable. Im frustrated.

Same problem here. I had ESS flash it twice. I think maybe I could have damaged a o2 sensor when installing. Totaled car since and haven't got new headers for the coupe. Good luck.
