Diff and other fluid recommendation s
OK, before I store the M for the winter, I want to replace the fluids. As I am new to the M, I could use your advice...
1) the diff will need the friction modifier as it has the rubbing noise. I am confused though...do I just need a fluid with FM included (like Redline) or do I still need to do that AND add an FM booster? Redline or OEM in either case?? 2) for brake fluid, am I better to wait until spring in case of water build up over the winter from it sitting in the heated garage or is this a non issue? Royal Purple seems to be the most popular...what line exactly for street use with a couple of track days thrown in? 3) for tranny fluid...Redline?? What line of fluid? 4) for engine, I assume OEM Since we're on the topic (and I know this should maybe be a Brake Forum question), if I am flushing the fluid anyway, should I replace the brake lines to stainless steel while I am at it? Lastly, any recomendations for a decent priced pressurized flusher? Thanks |

You wont do anything wrong with upgrading to stainless steel, so why not.
For the oils, no idea, I have pretty much everything OEM and it's sitting the winter in garage. |
Appreciate
