DIY - Removing Factory Nav Screen and Base

Hi all thought I would post this as I had trouble finding any thread which would point out how to remove the wiring loom going from the factory nav to behind the dash.

Pictures explain the steps.
Assumption made that plenty of DIY on removing the vents and is easily done.

Pics are here if anyone wants to use or create their own guide.
