My 08 had 76k miles on it when I bought it. All four shocks were shot (leaked and no longer pressurized).
I went with new B4's all around and I think they're fine. Be sure to buy new mounts and bump stops at the same time. One thing worth knowing is that the shaft diameter of the rear shocks is smaller than OEM. I tried to reuse the original bump stop. They still looked okay but because of the smaller OD of the new shock they wouldn't stay in place. I couldn't find aftermarket bump stops for non-M so I had to buy OEM. |
