I did the 2 rears also with the same problems. Took the fronts off my wife's 996 and placed them on the z4 and wow the handling came back not perfect but better. That was a test so I have new fronts on the way.

Cool. Nice to see folks researching and getting some answers--even on a 4 year old thread!
