BMS Exhaust Installed

When I first picked up my M Coupe the only thing I didn't like was the silence of the exhaust. Super Sprint had two systems onn the market and Eisenmann had their system. When I started looking BMS had just completed prototyping their exhaust system and had/has introductory pricing. I decided to go with their Stage 2 system which includes a replacement X-Pipe sans resonator and replacement mufflers:

The welds looked great and for an exhaust system that is not mass produced, I thought the quality was very nice. The sound is GREAT, on idle you hear a low burble that becomes a crescendo of sound until tapering off at high RPMs. Much easier to heel/toe and hear what the car is doing as opposed to watching the tach. I REALLY enjoyed my test drive in the mountains yesterday and feel that this exhaust is exactly the missing piece I was looking for, props to BMS and Chris at BMS for delivering a quality product for our M Coupes

Here is my write up on the R&R: http://www.billswebspace.com/MZ4ExhaustRR.htm

Bill,

On an unrelated note I loved seeing your web page write up on restoring an old 280Z. My first sports car was a 240Z which I autox'd every weekend and modded the crap out of (280 bottom end, E31 head, Webers and headers, full race suspension, roll cage, etc) - and it was my daily driver, ah Grad School...

It's fun to see how many folks around here started off on cheap fast Jap cars and ended up with Bimmers.

I am having fun......the BMS is actually a little cheaper than the Super Sprint and I have always been a fan of MagnaFlow components but the Super Sprint sounds good too

Here is a pic I snapped yesterday in the mountains:

Nice man. Your ride looks hot. I'd love to get some CSLs on mine too.
