Most people will steer you away to a real tire, something not runflat. If you must have runflats cause of the peace of mind that is cool as well though.

I know you can find the runflats as well as other tires at a smokin good deal through the banner to the top right. I now buy all my tires through that banner at tire rack. The site gets some money for the advertising and we get some great prices!

Personally, I went with General UHPs and I like them better than the runflats. They grip a bit better, are not quite as loud and are much cheaper. Although there are better tires out there than Generals

How do you find them in terms of ride quality? And also - do they grab and steer into the wheel ruts like the run flats? On well worn and rutted roads, I find that my car wants to steer in some other direction than I desire with the RFTs, and that is sometimes quite alarming - especially when there is oncoming traffic and its a narrow two lane road.

I'd much rather deal with a flat than a head on collision!

Thanks!

I also went with general uhp's and I like them. They are a good cheap tire. The tramlining is gone..ie does not follow the groves in the road. Ride seems a bit better. Makes driving more enjoyable thats for sure. I have put approx 15,000km on these tires and the wear is not noticable yet.

Yeah, I have about 15,000 miles on mine and they are not in need of replacement yet. I drive pretty spirited as well with mostly city driving (lots of turns). I don't notice and tramlinning, but then again I didn't notice anything on the RFTs either...
