Led rings I just bought somewhere on Ebay. I'll have to make some pics with the leds on in daytime because they were too bright at that moment.

Reason for change... I've always been a bigger fan of Porsche than BMW (although still a big fan of that too) but after a bad call on a 996 that costed me a couple of thousands of euros in repairs, I quickly turned back to the reliable beemers... But now I found this one, which I always liked (and hard to come by in this colour) I felt it was time to go back.
As for plans with it... Well, the first plans are already in process: the car will have some paint touch-ups (original paint is 17 years old now) and the small dents the car has collected over the past 17 years will be treated as well. Afterwards, the car will be fully detailed to de-swirl. The headlights weren't great either and will be replaced by new ones. Next "mods": get an original gear knob (or short shifter, not sure yet), detail the interior, install heated seats, GPS system install (original or aftermarketn dunno yet), sports filter, maybe chip tuning (not sure yet), repaint the calipers (paint is in poor shape), etc... |

Best of luck with the Boxster! I shopped them too (Caymans actually) but liked the looks of the Z4 too much to pass it up.
I hope your new car gives you many happy miles. |
