they'll fit perfectly; however, 225/35r19 will be widest/tallest tread you can go to in the front without rubbing, unless you have non-stock suspension. the front will be very flush, and the rear will be slightly more aggressive than an ///m with stock wheels and tires. you'll need an alignment after your install as well.

front = 19" x 8.0" et29 (e89 225/35r19)
rear = 19" x 9.0" et40 (e89 255/30r19)

also... note to OP... don't use runflats with these. some of the e89 wheels in 19" diameters have rear wheel cracking issues. check "z4-forum.com" for specifics. and remember, your rear brakes are going to look tiny. that is the only reason i didn't go for these myself, even though they are absolutely gorgeous.

Actually I'm planning to do a very special brake upgrade, and the rears I'm actually planning to retrofit the 330 performance brake setup with the BMW drilled rotors that should fill it up a little

that deserves a write-up! the e46 rear rotor isn't too much larger than the stock rotors, something like 0.5" greater in radius. the calipers/rotors should be the same up front. (they are for the coupe anyway). how will you get DSC and ABS to cooperate?

while i think that brake retrofit is a great idea, imo 19" wheels on the e46 also make the rear rotors look tiny on that car too. my 2 cents worth.

do the brake retro either way. you can be our guiniea pig.

Yea I know ...I'm so sorry I haven't done all this stuff yet, work has been killing me these past few months and haven't had time to finish all this stuff yet and their moving us to Chicago in a month or two. I'm still planning the trip to AA in Miami this year just don't know when exzaxley. I'll still do the exhaust vid here soon I'm just wondering what it will sound like after the tuning ...

As far as the brakes go I've been working with another member on this forum to make this happen but it will be oh so hot when its done. And have been looking for a rim that will show it off nicley. The Brembos transformed my mini cooper s braking wise but the cost is still crazy so this will be quite something if it pans out.

But I know what you guys mean when you speak of having a puny brake setup with big rims ...especially the open style ones.
