18X8.5 eT42 square setup Volk RE-30 Ti Gunmetal

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I have a set of 18X8.5 eT42 RE30 wheels in Titanium Gunmetal that I think fit the Z4 pretty well from what I am reading. These are brand new. The problem I have is that the Z4 I have is being driven by my wife (who doesn't care about quality of wheels or cost and performance benefits), so I am thinking I would either like to sell these outright or trade for any 17 or 18 inch wheel that fits the Z4 (plus cash of course). Again, these are mint and NIB, never used. If you want to hear the reason I have these BNIB, I can explain. I have a set that I plan to use for track days in my M3 18X9.5 eT35. I originally bought the 9.5 for use on the M3, then I thought about going with the 8.5 front, 9.5 rear since the 245 were a little stretched in the 9.5 wide rim. In the meantime of waiting for delivery, I found a great deal on some Volk TE37TAs, so I bought them and never used the 18X8.5 wheels. I then decided to use the 9.5 square setup with 275 wide tires for track days (first one is mid October). They have been sitting in my basement in the original boxes since I bought them. If it is a trade, I prefer local exchange. I am looking to get $2200 shipped with paypal fees included, so that will be discounted if I find a local buyer with cash. Trade price would depend on value of trade. Biggest thing about traded wheels is no bends (little curb marks are ok).

What's the weight of these wheels? Can you post pictures in meantime?

17lbs each. This is the 8.5 inch square setup, not the 8.5/9.5. I am using the 9.5 for track days in Oct. These wheels come with Volk stems, but no center caps.

these wheels are 5x100 according to pictures... they fit subaru's, Y2k VWs... but definitely not BMWs... BMWs are 5x120. I think you would get more hits at a subaru forum or vwvortex. GLWS

Please look at the silver area. It says 120. There are 10 holes. 5X100 and 5X120. These have the hubcentric rings for the BMW. There is no problem fitting these perfectly to the BMWs. Trust me. I put the 9.5s on my M3 and ran them for a month before upgrading to the TE37 in 19. I have no idea what cars fit the 5X100 (or if the hub matches the cars you listed), but these fit the BMWs perfectly.

Reply sent. I think it is going to be too much cost with shipping each way to be economical for either side. I think local trade is the only way this will work (or someone buy these outright).
