APEX AERO-7 (non-M)
Anyone considered these on a non-M Z4?
http://www.apexraceparts.com/1-series-BMW-E82_c_34.html Per a Facebook question: "These will work on Z4 non-m as the offsets for the 1 series are almost the same. stock Z4 non-m front wheels are 18x8" et47 (aero-7 front is et45 so 2mm more aggressive). stock z4 rear wheel is 18x8.5" et50. (aero-7 rear is 18x9" et50 so 6mm more aggressive)" They're light (~19 lbs front / ~20 lbs rear), well-priced, and I think they look great.

Those look sweet. Much better than the ARC-8 which I've always thought to look too flat -- like a boring version of the CSL wheel. These look an awful like the BBS RE-V, which, while unoriginal, is not by any means a bad thing. I would have been all over these if they made a Z4M fitment.

nice looking but i don't think i'd personally buy them as they were meant to look aggressive for a 1. yes it'll fit our non-m's but you're not taking advantage of the potential aggressive offset that could be achieved. but if that's not a concern for you, then by all means...

Won't they stick out slightly further? 2mm front and 6mm rear? How would that not be taking advantage of the more aggressive offsets?

I just wouldn't consider 2mm taking advantage. You have alot more room than that =)

Ah ok. Wheels are a new area for me, so I was hoping I didn't have the concept of offsets screwed up
When another 1 series group buy comes around, I MIGHT end up picking up a set. It's going to depend on where wheels come on my mod prioritization list.
