Good luck. Hope you figure it out soon!!!
Thanks. I suppose worst case = get the diff opened up and/or rebuild. No tracking for a while
Sad, because it's finally summer and perfect time for track...

Very curious to see what you find out. I was having similar noises at the track under heavy, high speed cornering loads last time. Am going back out this weekend, with new suspension (lower w/ more camber) and new brake pads. Will see if noise persists.

My money is on a wheel bearing if the noise is still there.

I just got the car back from the shop. Haven't heard anything major yet, albeit it was only a short drive home, and I was more preoccupied with getting the car to a friend's house to use some pressure washers and spraying the car down. Oil spills in the engine bay are NOT cool...gets every nasty as hell

Will report back after more daily driving. Going to the steam cleaner tomorrow to get the engine bay and underpanels a proper cleaning.

I haven't heard much if any ticking since getting the car back from shop. I do recall a lot of noise when the car came off the track last Saturday though.

Will continue to look out for ticking and report back if I find anything.

just had rear wheel bearings replaced at around 60k miles. i was experiencing ticking under high speed, high load corners at the track. dramatically less road noise now.

What was the cost?

Assuming you had a shop do it, everything I read says these are a huge bitch to DIY.

Oops, forgot to update the thread. I asked another shop for their expertise on my ticking noises, and they believe it's my LSD as well. Looks like I'll have to go Quaife or OS Giken next Can't believe OEM is so weak..sigh! I seriously doubt I'm tracking any harder than others here -_-..

Garage List
I know this wasn't actually the wheel bearing but turns out I had to replace my front left wheel bearing after 35 track days and not being shy with the curbing. Right side still seemed ok. Also had to replace both control arms since there was play in the ball joints. Fun times.
