FS: 2007 Z4M Roadster - in CANADA
Hey guys! Need to buy a house for the new family, would like to pass this on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I did! Located in Ontario (Toronto area). 2007 BMW M Roadster - Metallic Silver, Black interior, carbon dash - cold weather package, nav, bluetooth, everything except HD radio. It's imported and has 19,000km (12,000miles). 1,200 mile service was done by BMW. No accidents, no problems, history completely clean. Full BMW warranty until 2011. Asking $37,000US ($46,000cdn). Inquries from USA welcome as well! Thanks. |

After completing my Z shopping looking at both M & non-M models, it's more realistic that you'll get it off your hands for high $30's (at least in the GTA). M's were being offered at low $40's and non-M's at mid $30's. I paid $32.5 for a supercharged '05 3.0 with 10k km as I couldn't find any M's going for under $40k. Less M's being listed on the Trader now, but also a harder time of year to sell the car. Good luck with the sale, don't tell me if you sell it for $35 as I'll be kicking myself for buying mine.

I don't think danlauz has any idea what he is talking about. Its probably a few thousand too high, but thats why its the asking price. Good luck with the sale, you'll probably have more interest when the snow starts melting!

The dealership offerred to give me $43k cdn last month as a trade-in (so +taxes aswell) if i purchase something that costs more from them. In Canada (Toronto area), BMW Dealerships are selling these '07s for $50ish right now (if they have any in the lots that is) |

Keep in mind that your car is a US car (I believe that's what you meant by imported), which were being offered in the low 40's by non-BMW (independent) used car dealers advertised in the trader. When I bought mine last month they were pretty firm with $41k being as low as they'd go. CPO Canadian cars (with the extra 2 years of warranty) from BMW dealers are being offered between $45-50k. Due to it being a US car you will find it has less value than a Canadian car. Not that there is anything wrong with a US vehicle, they just have a lower value than Canadian car (and motorcycles for that matter). Also you need to keep in mind that the dealer offer is based on you giving them cash for another vehicle also your trade in value will affect the discount on the price of the new vehicle purchased (higher trade in value, less discount on cost of new vehicle). I'm sure a cash offer from the dealer, I one would be given at all would be significantly lower. If you can hold off requiring the downpamyent for the house purchase (long closing date) until the spring you'll probable be able to get a bit more money for your M. GL with the sale.

There are no '07's on bmw.ca right now but there are 2 '06's neither has navigation but the do have everything else: They are asking $44.8k for one with 15,500km & $45.9k for one with 6,000km. Both are CPO'd with warranty until 2012.

As you said, the '06's are goin for $45k so I imagine the '07's if they had any, would be going for low-50s, CPO'd. It will definetely be better for me in the spring, just thought I'd post it here if any of our more weather-fortunate southern-cousins would be interested as I have it stored for now |
