Smile 2013 spring mod bug log

Yup.... despite the odds the mod bug has survived another Canadian winter and is as infectious as ever.
(it was a close call though)

....a little tease to get things rolling.

Gots ta have more ///M logos on the car (ignore bar colors)

On the GB for EC7s, hoping to pick up Supersprint Race exhaust in Italy next month, and have all fluids lined up for changing in the next few weeks.

What are you looking to do with that? I have this stupid front license plate frame on the front of my car, and rather than remove it and have holes in my bumper I'd like to put some sort of vanity plate on the front.

Gosh that was a tough decision. Anthracite won over Race Silver in a 51/49 mental vote.

Got EC-7's mounted in early Feb (See Pic below) and just installed TCK S/A's last night. I went with the E36 in the front to avoid the noise that everyone has described as annoying for street driving. The handling has immensely improved even before alignment, but due to the fronts being about an inch longer than the z4's it is currently a little higher than stock (about 1/4 inch) in front and about the same as stock in rear. I have about three turns left in the front for adjustment (rears have alot of room to be lowered, but obviously will be limited by the amount I lower in the front so to not make it look stupid). I will post pictures with the suspension installed after alignment and ride height adjustments in about 6 weeks (heading away on business trip for a while).

Embroidery cost was 150
You would also have cost to disassemble the seat skins.

For me that cost was mitigated by having the seats reskinned in Alcantarra at the same time.

The seat looks absolutely amazing. I'd love to fill in the bumper like that too, can't wait to see more.

Looks like the de-modding is going really well

that looks goooood...

question though: is the top-stitch in blue, or white? or maybe it changes color? maybe my work monitor is just that crappy that it's difficult to see what it actually is...?

Custom made with the seats.
Made a couple of groove cuts under the lip & used a small zip-tie
