Just ordered the SS full race system

From Headers and cats to x pipe and straight cans... should be fun.

Read that for the z4 M coupe, we should just put a drop in filter.. works best.

and maybe looking to get ECU... what's good? RPI? ESS?

Do they have different programs depending on how your car is modded?

That is going to sound awesome. Are you getting dynoes before and after? Would be pretty interested to see what a full system can do for us.

it's gonna be about 3-4 weeks

You can see some dyno's on the supersprint.com site...

read a guy in Calgary gaining 30-40 HP after this setup... I'm just doing it cause it's fun

I still have to go to race school... learn some theories hahah...

We definitely gotta meetup...

The step headers

I figure... we're not gonna pass the emissions tests anyways... might as well go all the way

I still think the z4 M coupes are gonna be collector cars...

Yeah, I read about losing the low end... but hey... when you sound fast... you feel fast

Many people have told me that the AFE and the Gruppe M actually causes loss of responsiveness in the car... so I'm just gonna put in a drop in filter.. the guy at the shop, he's a good friend.. he said he'll help me modify the air box...

Now I'm just thinking about where to get the ECU tuned?????

I have the AFE and I'm not 100% sure if I like it... sounds nice but I can't tell if the car has extra power...

Drop in is the best way to go, the stock air box is completely sealed from the engine bay. The GruppeM and the AFE sound amazing, but allow for some level off heat soak. I ran the GruppeM because the stock air box did not fit with the CF plenum I was using.

I would get with ESS on the ECU tune. They will tune to your needs and software is adaptable to you mods. Customer service it top notch and the results speak for themselves.

BTW, your coupe rocks. What are your wheel sizes and offsets on those LM-R's?

So what are you planning to do when it comes time for emission testing @ tag renewal?

With a tune, that's about right. The powerband is also shifter a tad bit towards the upper end of the RPM just like it does for the E46 M3 as well.

I love collecting watches!

I've been eyeing a Panerai that I've wanted for a long time at the moment.
