Z3/Z4’s driving the Texas hill country this weekend

I am in Kerville Texas this weekend for a BMW motorcycle rally. While riding my motorcycle on the 3 sisters roads I saw about 12 Z3/Z4 roadsters and coups on the roads. Anyone here?

I’m in Cibolo TX. My weekend car is a Z4MR. My wife and I drive it around hill country

I think that was the annual Fred R Hill Country Spring Drive that's put on by one of the Texas ZSCCA groups. They do an annual drive out of Kerrville every April. I went last spring but was not able to attend this year. Last year's event had probably 30 or more Z3's and Z4's but they didn't do the Three Sisters route out of Kerrville.

I'm somewhat surprised the organizers didn't post anything here (or, if they did, I missed it).

I live in New Braunfels and I don't think I've ever seen another MCoupe out in the wild.

I was great weather for the a drive this weekend though.

Last year's run was from Kerrville up to New Braunfels (had lunch at the Gristmill in Gruene) and then drove up River Road around the north side of Canyon Lake (had a great big group photo done at Overlook Park by the dam). Right in your backyard. Group was roughly split between Z3's and Z4's but I think there was only 3 or 4 coupes.

It's a multiday deal. They usually meet for dinner at a steakhouse in Kerrville on Friday night, drive all day on Saturday with a stop for lunch and then meet again for dinner with another drive on Sunday morning before the group breaks up after Sunday lunch.

They were doing the 3 sisters this year on Saturday and I think they were headed up to Llano for lunch at Coopers BBQ on Sunday. I couldn't make it (teenage daughters had a dance comp this weekend).

The Austin area BMW club has a Fall Drive out of Kerrville - usually not too many Z's in that group though.

If you're interested, the Austin BMW club is doing a bluebonnet trails drive on 4/21 in the area west of Austin.
