Dinan Ram Air Intake or RPi Ram Air Intake Scoop

Should i get the Dinan Ram Air Intake Duct or the RPi Ram Air Intake Scoop? I am a college student so I'm aiming for affordability, performance, and a mean engine noise. I previously looked at the aFe CAI but people in the forums said it wasn't worth it.

You're better off getting just the Dinan Airbox and filter.

If you want a mean engine noise, get an exhaust.

Have you considered this one? http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1089062
It's a lot cheaper than either of your choices if affordability is your goal.

I like the way you think. I'm really leaning towards buying that header and exhaust system. You think you can give me some pros and cons so I can stop being hesitant? Does it sound similar to the Supersprint exhaust?

I don't know what the supersprint rep muffler sounds like. You could just start with a muffler delete, if you like it great and if not your out like 30 bucks. then you can move on to headers if you want more sound and power. If you do get headers I would suggest getting software though (ess tuning or active autowerke depending on where you are located)

headers and muffler delete on a 330

2.5 with muffler delete

It would cost too much to send to you. Too bad you're not in the US.

I would be using it for sure if I didn't now live in such a dusty environment. No doubt it helps to pressurize the airbox, and the filter is very high quality and can be cleaned and reused.
