llicense plate light replacement?

I have one of the lights burnt out. I purchased a new assembly with bulb etc (i guess thats how they come). Ive tried to pull the old assembly out and cant get it. Is there a secret trick? If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help!

IDK, looks like it might just "pop" out, but I'd hate to get it wrong and mess things ups.

RobMCoupe replaced his a few months back, maybe shoot him a PM? Sorry I can't help more.

You'll see a tiny groove in each of the plastic housings. Use a mini screw driver to pry it out, but be careful not to scratch the paint. FYI I replaced mine with oem LED's and they work great, no dash light.

I just got some from Amazon 39.00 have had nothign but problems. The plastic is starting to yellow, no clue why... maybe from heat? LEDs dont omit heat though right?

Where can you get teh OEM ones? How much are they?

You need 2 of each of these part numbers. I purchased the lights for these prices. (ebmwparts.com) plus shipping. $28.68 for oem led license plate lights? you just cant beat that!

63267193294 $12.05
