Headlight troubles

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could give me a hand. I have a 2004 3.0i with those hideous pre-facelift front headlights. Mine specifically have oxidized up pretty bad, I used a restore kit to clean them up and it did a solid job but the real problem is is doesn't clean them completely because some of the oxidation is on the inside. Anyways, I've been stalking the forum and ebay for months now looking for bi-xenon chrome with clear hockeysticks. I finally ended up getting some separately. (People want an arm and leg for these the price is crazy) Come to find out, I ended up with 2 lights that are different. I wasn't aware, I thought the chrome look was chrome? One looks like it has a double xenon setup, and isn't exactly chrome, it's more silver... See pics...

Will both work on my car? My car is the Titanium Silver and I actually like the silver headlights more than the chrome. Problem is I still need to find a matching light.

Should have saved my money, sold the 3.0i and bough that badass SC blue Z4M sitting in the classified section... One day. But I have to finish college first....

Crap can't get photo uploaded from phone, I'll have to add it later.

I know the left has the Xenon and the flash to pass. But what is the light on the right?

The light on the left which the chrome look is not an OEM light. My silver lights are not shiny chrome but more of a matte finish(like the one on the right). The projectors are not correct on the left light either.

Okay, but it has BMW labeling and a BMW part number? They both have BMW part numbers actually. The one on the left is identical to the stocks on my car, except the hockey stick is clear instead of amber.

The one on the right looks like my post facelift lights.
The inboard dome is a dummy. There's no bulb. It's just for the angel eye.

Does anyone know if the post facelift headlight is plug and play on the pre-facelift cars?
