Are there any data that can prove that and make me feel a little more secure that is a better solution that the OEM rod bearings?

WPC has tons of data, documentation, explanations etc on their site LINK. Because these are rod bearings, a very important part of the engine, I highly advise reading all you can to become comfortable with the process prior to purchase.
