I wonder how difficult it is to swapping the resonators and Cats once DKF section 1 is installed? I hope it doesn't require to take down the whole exhaust every time. Not that I would be changing them day to day.

Picked up used, low-mile SS V2 headers.

It came out to around $1800. Sure beats ponying at least $2700 for a new set. And they are V2's which you should bolt up to the DKF section 1. I believe v1's require a custom fitted section 1 since they do not fit to oem spec section 1 pipes. So am quite fortunate to pick this up. Which brings up the question: SS V1 not compatible with DKF section 1? You guys should watch the M3 forums. you never know what goes up for sale in their FS sections. I currently see Euro and a few CSL headers available. |

I'm trying to decide which route I want to take.
Euro = Nice because they are cheap but they are used. AA = Nice, New and a decent price. Supersprint = Would have to get used to get the price I want. Fabspeed = Good price. So many choices.

I haven't read much about AA Supersprint, (well documented) If all efforts fail to acquire used SS, or budget is a priority, then go Euro. |

At least I don't have to buy headers yet.

Who might I be able to talk to about pricing for an s-pipe/section 1 now that the GB has passed? I can't seem to find a website or anything for DKF, nor have I seen non-GB pricing anywhere.

Contact DKF by email.
Often with production runs like this GB there are some overruns. Only DKF can say for sure though. dkfperformance at gmail dot com

Latest feedback is everything is on schedule to complete the production phase within the 30 days planned.
DKF is in constant contact with the fabricator and everything is going smooth. After that we have the final 30 day phase for finishing (polishing, coating etc) and shipping. ...so we're looking roughly at mid-August all together. I know it seems like a long time but we have to remember this is a custom fabrication piece that we're getting. Setting up a production run for something like this is an involved process. I'm getting anxious too though, especially since I have run the test piece on my car for a while & had to take it off & ship back. Also,,,, good news on the next piece coming. DKF is working out the final details on the X-Pipe section and will be making some changes from the previous piece (in the threads Chris posted) The new X-pipe will now be adaptable to any OE fitment rear muffler. So if you love those RPI's for example..... you will now be able to use them. Also.... It will be adaptable at the front end to the OE section 1, for those that didnt get in on this GB. Once this current GB is complete there will be a new one started for the rear section very soon after, LOTS more DKF goodies coming guys
