z4 with m suspension

Got a question, the z4 with m suspesion, on bilsteins site, the search says to use the b8 because its lowered. B8 is stiffer correct ? is there any other solution to a softer ride ?

I guess the other option would be replace the front & back with b4 and get regular springs and swap out the M lowering springs ?

I replaced my blown m-sport shocks with Bilstein B8. The ride was noticeably better afterwards.

I have the Msport suspension and replaced my shocks and struts with B4s, kept the original springs but upgraded all the other suspension parts. Huge difference in ride and handling.

Garage List
Yes B8 is valved for lowering springs, they are marketed as Sports shocks for lowering springs. They are firmer/stiffer than factory. There is also B6 which are also sport shocks and are the same firmness/stiffness as B8 but these are valved for OE springs/ride height.

B4 are touring and are marketed as direct stock/factory replacemnet. But significantly improved damping and control than factory (not necessarily stiffer)

Shocks dont usually change ride height, springs do.
