Cool New shift knob mod.

So, I talk with Doug Whalen and order a shift knob from him.

Received it and it's EXCELLENT. He really did a great job with it!

Put it on this evening. Took about 1 minute to take to stock one off and put the new one on.

sorry for the big iPhone pics!

Always admired Whalen's work. Looks really nice... pictures probably don't do it justice.

Yeah. THANKS for the info! I sent notes and talked with him on the phone before deciding to purchase. Shift Knob is really nice. I'll try to get a lot better pic of it soon.

Cost was $175 shipped - so it's a little pricy but, for me it was worth every penny as I have been looking for a shift knob of this quality for years.

You know, before I even scrolled down to the pics, I KNEW you had the Marine Corps symbol engraved on it. Can't wait to see up close!

^^ OH YEAH! I am finding it a little easier to shift with the new shift knob as well. For some reason I like the "ball" shifter better for me then the stock one. It's heavier then the stock one though, and that really could be the only reason.
