Good Rating!

After a couple of these the GB activity will pick up!

Got it. I wonder why a selector rod is NOT included. Can you ask? Would the AS be compatible with UUC's DSSR? The M3 kit that DOES include a new selector rod (not of the "dual-sheer" variety but certainly a lot more beefy than stock!)...

IIRC there was some discussion about this & the Z4 selector is different than that M3 unit in the pic.
I forget the details, but there really wasn't anything to be gained by replacing it.

I can tell you my car shifts great & I have absolutely no desire to replace that part.

Understood. And it most certainly is a different part (Z4M-25117512337; E46M3-25112228711). If I'm not mistaken, a selector rod replacement that doesn't switch to a dual-shear configuration and just beefs up the rod won't do very much. By having a dual-shear configuration, you clean up the lateral (left right) slop when in gear. Not saying its a necessary component to this kit at all, I'm getting one!

Here's a visual representation of what a dual-shear selector rod does:

vs.

It is the same transmission but I can't comment on the shifter components...

I remember asking Ronald about the selector rod during the time that I was running the first AutoSolutions GB, and he said something along the lines of "there is no need to change the OEM one; would be a waste of time, effort, and money", so I haven't had any second thoughts since then.
As far as the side-to-side play/slop while in gear, I personally don't have too much. At least not to a point that it bugs me.

Received this message from ronald

All e85 and e86. The M and 3.0 use the same lever and shift arm.

I'm stoked for the news =)

Correct. Final shippable kit count will be unknown until after production batch and processing has been finished. Everyone on the GB list has to pay up front however to cover for any risks in potential flaker(s). If by chance there are not enough kits to go around, those at the bottom of the list will be refunded in full. Ronald @ AutoSolutions will deal with payment collection and processing. I'm not affiliated with AutoSolutions; am merely a channel for the Zpost community for awesome shifters

NP! It's a pleasure to serve the Zpost community

My guess is that Ron will start collecting payment just prior to the start of production. Which means...around first or second week of September I'd say?

No deadline, but seeing as how there are so many people signed up already, I doubt there will be enough kits to go around. Unless of course Ronald produces significantly more than the first batch - last time I ran the GB.

For those of you that are already on the GB list, please PM me your Paypal info along with your full name, most convenient phone # to reach you at, and ship-to state and zip code. Your information will be passed along to Ronald for debt collection

I've received info from some people already. For the rest, please PM me when convenient. The info will be deleted from my records as soon as I pass it on over to Ronald @ AutoSolutions, so don't worry. No identity theft here
I did this exact same thing the last time I ran the GB, and it was very successful. It helps speed up the debt-collection process so that everyone's kits can be put into production as soon as possible--and effectively shipped to the owner as soon as possible too

Here is the list as it currently stands...
