In appreciation of the Z4...
My other car is a an X5 3.0. I drive it on rainy days and drove it every day this week except today. Today, however, was pure fun. It's such a blast getting back into the Z4 after the listless acceleration of the X5. Like night and day. If I need to pass a car (or cars) in the Z4, I just downshift and step on it. "That was easy" as Staples would say. Not so in the X5. Earlier this week I was ready to take the X5 in to have the tranny checked. I was sure it had a problem as there was no acceleration when I needed it. Then I realized I was just spoiled by the Z.
So here's to the Z4. Pure driving fun.

I feel the same with my vehicles. I drive the Z4 and I really come to appreciate the acceleration that it has compared to my 525i. When I'm on the bike, however, it makes the Z4 seem like a slug.

Yep, nothing better when the weather turns bad. Not a bad long-distance cruiser, either.

Yeah, I had an FJ1200 back in the early 90's. Riding that thing was like "thought speed." Think it and you're there. You could pass people almost anywhere because it was so quick. I miss that bike sometimes.
