Airbag Warning light is on.

Hey everyone. I was driving around yesterday and my airbag warning light came on in the dash. Has anyone experienced this before? I looked in the manual and it says that the airbag won't deploy now if I get in a wreck. Any advice on what steps to take to get it cleared? Thanks.

Mine came on after my battery died, but went back out the next day. I called the dealership and they told me that if the fault is no longer detected, the light will go out. If it doesn't go out in a couple days, take it to the dealership.

Ok, thanks for the advice. It's been on since yesterday now, So I'll give the shop a call on monday.
