Want To Trade My M5 for a Z4 M!!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest

Okay guys, just like the title says, Im looking to trade my M5 for a Z4 M . My preference is a hardtop coupe in either BLUE!!!, white, or grey, but any offer will be looked at. My car is a 2002 E39 M5. the exterior and interior are in flawless condition. It has a rebuilt title because of an impact to the driver side front fender, but has no lasting damage. It just passed BMW's inspection 3 months ago, all papers kept for reference. It has 48,xxx miles and a few aftermarket parts listed below:

Smoked tail lights
Black and white carbon fiber emblems
white silver and black m5 emblem
carbon fiber diffuser
20% tint all around
K&N filters
Magnaflow exhaust
clear bra on front bumper, hood, headlights, foglights, side mirrors, and dorsills.

The factory options as far as I know is fully loaded except for the park distance control. It has Beautiful extended black leather, and sterling grey metallic paint (the most amazing color) Please let me know if you have any questions...

P.S. I have no problem shipping m car for the right deal.

Definitely a sweet looking M5. I WILL have one of these one day....but not right now. I'm keeping my Z4M for a bit. Good Luck with trade!

Kelly Blue Book says...

Assuming *normal* title and ~30K miles on the Z, you'd have to include $3K or more in cash with the M5 to trade for an '06 Z4M.

Attachment 395081

Attachment 395097

The usual disclaimers apply, blah blah blah.

i think since this is a rebuilt title then you have to subtract the diminished value from it. I know i was just looking at some websites that claimed they know how ins companies calculate that. (I think you have to subtract another 5k or so from his asking price due to the rebuilt title)

The title makes this car worth about 15k but if there's any sign of post factory welding on the frame then I wouldn't pay more than 10k as an insurance company wouldn't give you any more than that if you were to total it.
