winter storage question about convertible top
Just curious as to storing the car for winter with the hardtop on and soft top down is advisable or not? So far through ownership of this vehicle, I had only the soft top and stored it with the top up for the winters. Comments or pointers are appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the input about winter storage. I was worried about the contraction of the top stored in the down position creating iron marks on the canvas. Also the hydraulic lines being folded for such a long time with sub-zero temps freezing creating a line/pump problem. Like I said, I have always stored it with the soft top up, battery tendered and cover on. This is the first year a la' hardtop. Thank you for your response.

I put the roof up for the same reasons, but i've never been told which way is better. Less folding = better?
let's just say we're right probably. |
