Hello from Puerto Rico
Hello My name is Josh and this is my first BMW:
2006 3.0si Roadster 68k mi. I got the car back in May and I love it sounds great, runs awesome. I've owned some "fast" nice cars (04 Saturn ION Redline, 89 Toyota MR-2 Supercharged(7AGZE Frankenstein),86 Supra(7MGTE Swap), 91 RX-7 GTU) but I've enjoyed the last few months on this one the most. I got it used, Sweet deal for 12.5k, had to replace Pass Side Lower control arm a few weeks later and took it to the dealer for my first Oil Change. The Car had a nice record at the BMW Service Dept. It's been great ever since. Did a plug change at 70k myself (just for the heck of it) Found the first two plugs loose. I like tinkering with my cars. I have a few questions, I joined the forum a few weeks ago and have been reading up on quite a few things. (engine modifications mostly) I've wondered over to the 1&3 Series forums and have been reading a lot of information over there that somehow is not over here. ex: Some Tunes, Intakes, Exhaust, even a possible supercharger by a company called ESS. From what I have read we share the same engine (N52) as the 128i, 130i, 328i & 330's. So, anyone can shed some light on this one, I know the Z4 has Higher HP Numbers than the ones on the 128's Are these companies just not bothering with the Z4 market and all they are doing is getting those "underpowered" N52's up to the rating of the si, and thats it. The only thing I have been able to find solid information on is the Supersprint Headers. I'd like to get a little more out of it then again who doesn't. Thanks for your input in advance. |

Nice wheels.
Is that the "OEM" spoiler? I've never actually seen one except for this pic on the web. Until I got my Z4, I drove an '88 MR-2 S/C (4AGZE) for 22 years.
