Leather color repair
I had a small ballpoint ink mark on the seat of my M roadster.
Decided to try a little alcohol, q-tips and cotton balls to remove it. I suspect I was a bit too aggressive and have removed the leather dye. Now I need to restore the color - in great need of suggestions/tips. Currently in the fetal position crying in the corner of my garage. By-the-way, I'm in the Atlanta area. |

My only advice is...turn to a pro. I worked at a car dealership as a car lot grunt back in high school. Back in the late '80s there were guys that came around to fix up the interiors of our used cars and they worked wonders on stuff like this.

I had good success with the leather repair kits sold by LederTecnik on ebay. He is from Germany. You will need your exact OEM color name in order the get the kit. Kit comes in german. His match for OEM Light Sepang was dead nuts.
