Your link doesn't work but I'm telling you that won't fit the non-M E86. This is what my filter looks like and it matches the BMC website:

Also if you do a quick search for Z4 on their site, you see multiple filters for different years/trim. Notice how all the non-rectangular ones are for the facelift models (06-08). FB132/01 is only for the 03-05 model.
