Almost had an accident..

I95 NY.

So construction is setting up on left lane, there was no warning or signs about closure.

Car in front side swipe the truck.. luckily it was minor.. I thought it was going to be sandwiched between the 2 trucks

I feel like that happens to me every other time I drive in NY/NJ (granted, I only visit during holidays so traffic must be even heavier than normal when I go). There's always construction or a disabled vehicle or just a line of vehicles stopped for no apparent reason other than heavy volume. I never follow 18 wheelers or even large SUVs anymore because they block too much of your long-distance vision.

Close call! That had to be an "oh ****" moment.

I agree with Twix--but that's easier said than done tight quarters and traffic. It's hard to keep an "optimal" position in many cases.

I'm glad you and the car are ok.

Eek! Glad nothing bad came of it. I've seen that happen on 90 in the 'small amount of ' construction going on there. I try to avoid 90 if I can.

Glad you avoided it. I saw one or more wreck every day this past week. I guess it was all of the Christmas/holiday shoppers. I parked my M roadster a few days ago, because it was getting so bad.

Stay safe out there, my friends!
