Great independent mechanic??

Greetings,
A dear friend just purchased a restored 73 2002 and needs a great independent mechanic that works on older BMW's in the Seattle area....really need your input - thank you!

Mike Miller - BMWCCA head tech guy -- recommends these two organizations to find independent shops:

www.bimrs.org and www.bimmershops.com.

I found a great local shop that way, though a shop that handles 2002's might be a ittle sketchier.

You can also search for suggestions on the PNW section of the E46 M3 forums since those cars are more common.
