We have 2 horns - a low pitched and high pitched one. Doesn't it have a part number on it so you know which one you removed? Looks like the high pitch ends with 4481 and the low pitch ends with 4480. They are both behind the front bumper - one on the right and one on the left I believe.
EDIT: Actually since you have a pre-facelift model the part you pulled would end in 2069 if it's the high pitched horn or 2068 if it's the low pitched horn, assuming it has never been replaced. Last edited by Twixboy; 12-02-2015 at 01:27 PM.. |

I removed right side horn, there is no visible part number on it.
I thought you guys maybe know that for example on the ride side of the car it was high and on the left low, or way another? Last edited by Ponta; 12-03-2015 at 01:15 PM.. |

I'm not sure, but hopefully someone else can chime in. Just a thought, what does your horn sound like now when you honk? Can you tell which one you need based on what the left horn sounds like? It doesn't really hurt to have 2 high or 2 low since a horn is a horn, but obviously it would be nice to replace the broken part with an identical sounding replacement.

I tried to record my horn in real life situations but its always drowned out by me yelling "get off the sidewalk you idiots!"

LOL, I don't think I've ever used my horn before and I haven't driven it lately so I probably won't remember to honk the horn when I get home.

I agree. I remembered to honk my horn for the first time ever this weekend and it sounded surprisingly high pitched. It wasn't as bad as the OP's which sounds like a clown horn in his video, but he might in a garage and car sounds don't always transmit well in youtube videos.

Very true and valid point on sound transferring over youtube. I also haven't heard my horn since sometime in July at the very earliest, but from what I recall and what most horns sound like... seems far too high.
He could always go out and buy a hella horn or something haha.
