Help with fix

My water hose is leaking coolant. I bought a new one and figured it would be an easy install. I couldn't have been more wrong!! The ends of the hose have these metal clips that you pull up. So technically, I should be able to pull up the clips at the ends of the hold hose and pull the hose right off. But no matter how hard I pulled and twisted, I couldn't get the hose off at all. This is the small diameter hose with one end right under the reservoir and the other end near mid engine on the driver's side. Can anyone give me advice? How do I get this hose off? Thanks.

I'm afraid I can't help. I'm sure someone here can offer some assistance though.

Guys?
