It is great and I highly recommend it. I liked the Dinan exhaust I had on my E46 so much that I had one installed on my Z4. The sound of the exhaust is a low rumble with a European sports car sound. Sounds best with the top down and driving through an underground garage. I am sure you will like it.

i've heard good things bout this muffler as well but for the price you could buy a system (muffler & piping) which i think is better value.

I have the Dinan exhaust and love it. Doesn't look overly aggressive, doesn't attract the popo and it has an awesome sound when you let it rip.
Let's people know you're coming, but not in an obnoxious "I think I'm fast" way.

Changes in exhaust on our cars generally result in minimal at best gains and can produce a loss with a poorly designed system. What you're buying primarily is the sound you want. Search the forums, talk to those that have the various exhaust mods, and if you can, hear them in person. Doing your homework will help minimize the chance of you spending money on something that's too loud, too quiet, rattles your teeth..... If your serious about horsepower/torque gains you can look at headers and exhaust systems, intakes, ecu reflashes, forced induction.... it comes down to what you want out of the car and how much you can afford.

Headers is mainly where your HP money's at. Exhaust is mostly for sound only. Well matched exhaust + intake = something that sounds like God speaking to you DINAN seems like a good value for the money.
