Duraflex front bumper?

Hey folks, So I had a bit of a bump today with my bumper, Basically I left my car in gear (which I never do) and upon starting it, it lurched forward into a cement wall. Not a big deal, no cracks but It left a nasty little fold where the nostrils are. So its almost winter storage time anyway, I was debating swapping the stock M bumper for a Duraflex one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Z4-03-08...lVF1KK&vxp=mtr Has anybody got one of these? any feedback? It looks great but you know, all that glitters and whatnot.

It's been custom done before, it looks pretty cool, however I would suspect the fitment not to be 100% which is something most can live with, the biggest problem I see however is you will have to do a bunch more work to get proper fitting lower grills as it does not come with any.

I'd go OE. I think you'll regret not doing so in the long term. $670 from Tischler BMW.

There is a thread on here somewhere about this exact bumper cover.
Looked OK on the car.
I do believe the grilles are just glued on mesh.

On a secondary note is your clutch safety not working?

Thanks for the link! You know, to me, it looks "el-cheapo". So either way the bumper will have to come off, I'll just see if my body guy can repair the squish I did.

So the safety works, normally when I leave the car, I'll leave it out of gear and pull the e-brake. I start the car with the "normal" procedure: push in clutch, turn key, take foot off clutch, so on. My problem was I left it in gear that morning and completely snoozed on that. So when I took my foot off the clutch later that day, the car did a mini-jump forward. My cat-like reflexes kicked in and I pushed in clutch/brake but not in time to stop light damage. Sucks but I was glad I didn't crack my grills or worse.
