You know "M"s are actually much easier to find than the 3.0si coupes. When I was looking about this time last year, autotrader had only 15-18 manual transmission coupes in the whole country while there were about 100 "M" coupes for sale. Consequently, I had to go over 1,200 miles to find the one I wanted--in Rochester, NY. Seems like if you live on one of the coasts you can find one close by much easier.

And now there's Montego Blue.
I wonder how much I could hook an M Roadster for!

I drove my e46m from Seattle to LA, traded it in and drove the Z4m back up to Seattle. Whole trip took 40 hours including 6 hours to buy the car and have dinner. It was about 2200 miles total.

1250 miles.
Flew from Va Beach, Va to Tyler, TX. Drove it home... Six months of searching. The day I picked it up was the first time I ever sat in an ///M. |

Scio, Oregon all the way to Annapolis, MD - right around 3,000 miles. Wish I could say I drove it back, but that would have taken most of the work week, so I had it trailered. Thankfully I had a friend of a friend out there that checked it out and gave me the OK. I don't regret a thing. This is my 3rd S54 car, with two previous E46 M3s. Love it more than the M3s for sure.
