That's probably it. I bought his wheels and mufflers, and he told me he had traded the car in to a Seattle dealer...

I just saw this and it seems high priced at $36k+ tax for 42k miles. They had a 2008 last year in Portland for $38k and it had 1500 miles.

Reality is this Z4 should be $28-$30k stock. Maybe even lower since its a last generation car.

The coupes seem to have held their value more than the roadsters. I was happy to grab my '07 M Coupe with 30k miles for $27,500 earlier this month, but sold my '08 M Roadster with 45k about 18 months ago for $25k.

This winter I was ready to buy his car. After not being able to get his car, I just spent some cash on some mods for my Z. Plan now is to get a M3 in 3 years.

Price is kinda high. I doubt he got what he wanted for it from the stealership. He should have sold it here.

Yes, it was my car. I got an excellent deal from the dealership, and with the tax credit toward the purchase of my new car, I couldnt resist. I do know that a previous owner must have had a minor front right side collision because it turned up in a BMW inspection that it had been repaired. I kept it in meticulous shape. I dont know why the dealership left the hood unlatched when taking pics....makes the front look off! I took all my mods off and sold them and came out way ahead. I never make a deal that I cant get ahead. This car will make its next owner very happy. Cheers.

Glad to hear you got a good deal out of the dealer. Things happen for a reason. Now I get to save for a few more years so I can get an M3 E92 and still keep my roadster.
:-)

Although, that Z4MCoupe looks so cool and much more interesting than an M3.

Meanwhile, I'm loving the Apex wheels and Powerloop mufflers

Would you mind sharing what you got from the dealer? I'm just curious to know how dealerships are valuing our cars. Thanks!

I do agree with you on the Coupes. Good point on the roadster. Great car combo regardless. If I didnt have my X5 for snow duty I might just get back into a Z4MC. I love that car. My M3 though keeps a smile on my face from time to time.

I would rather not say what I got for my car as I have a great relationship with the dealership. I WILL say that my particular color combo is highly sought after and they were eager to get it from me. REALLY eager. I have noticed that Sapphire Black Coupes tend to go for less $$$ than the Alpine White/Imola Red combo....
