aftermarket Flex Disc by REV SHIFT (guibo)

after running it hard at Bear Mountain I began noticing a low speed shudder or thudding from under me. just to rule out and upgrade im going with REV Shifts after market guibo.....if youre like me and accelerate like an asshole every decent chance you get AND you have headers, this is a must.

With these and the poly mounts you've got yourself a damn hardcore setup there!

"Guibo"--that part name always cracks me up! "Hey, did you hear about Guibo? Got whacked by Villanova the other day on a drive."

Report back on the NVH with these installed. I'm heavy on the throttle on the track but a bit cautious about NVH after the poly transmission mounts (drove me nuts on the street). (I know that's not an issue for you, but you're way more hardcore than I am when it comes drivetrain control mods! )

This might be a track mod some would want to consider.

im goetting the ss or rogue x pipe too....i say let it all hang out....
but i digress....even if this doesnt imediatly remedy the issue i dont care cuz the flex disc has to changed anyway cuz im at 57k with all these new mods so parts that were just getting by on stock power are really being thrashed about now with all this goodness....so i consider a check the box kind of thing

Yep, makes sense.

You've not getting that vibration in low speed turns or anything are you? Diff isn't leaking, correct? (I'm "diff focused" since my pinon and axle seals are toast and being replaced by the dealer as we speak. No puddles under car but a lot of mess. Pics in a thread in the engine/drivetrain section. Ocha wanted to bet me 50 bucks they'd do it wrong--I refused to take the bet. We'll see if they can fix it correctly or if I'm goig to be getting a new diff. The suspense is tangible.)

I hear ya! I really want to do the 3.91 gear swap into my own diff, and it annoys me to no end that I couldn't get the darn gear and have them swap it in while they had it cracked open anyway. (Of course I'm freakin' dreaming on that one, but still.) 4.1 would be fun, but probably a bit too much for track work, and with the smaller diameter tires I'm running (around 2% smaller than stock) I'd be getting a bit more than the 3.91 anyway if I had that installed while running my current tire setup.

Dealer called just now and supposedly it's fixed, tested, and working correctly. We shall see. While the car was there the passenger side headlight went out, so they're replacing that now too. I will have to compliment my car on good timing--nice of it to have that fail while at the dealer.

haha unfortunately they still pwn in the hands of any decent driver

I've had my share of GTRs for breakfast/lunch/dinner, but I never once considered them kills because I know the car is MUCH more capable than ours =P

Last time I was at track, I was head-to-head with a 458 Italia. But I'm sure it was only because driver of that car stunk lol

Agreed it's a more capable car as are many others. But the two GTRs I've seen at the track had drivers that had no line to speak of and were all over the track. They were still fast (a testament to the car), but it's a case where some instruction would allow them to get so much more out of the car.
