underdrive pulleys from TMS

They are on sale for $183.92 currently. for that price... i might bite. anyone else?

i know there's so much discussion back and forth on these pulleys being worthless or not, but i'm going to go for it and hope for the best. Turner says it dynos about 10+ horsepower.

due to the lack of available mods for our cars, $183 for 10 ponies sounds fairly appetizing even if my butt dyno can't feel it.

great, let us know what you think about them!

but why spend money if you can't feel it without a machine?

however not all mods are empirical....some mods are overlapping.

Both valid arguments. Though 10whp should be felt. The 8 wheel I gained with rpi is definitely noticeable.

it should be fairly easy. remove the fan for easier acces, the belt is removed, pullies removed with 1 bolt, reverse process to install new pullies and belt. it's only the water pump and power steering being underdriven. i'm gonna try it, f*ck it

very true. i think something like the horsepower being used to spin these accesories now being underdriven should be felt on its own. just a guess though

I picked those up from TMS a few months back along with the water pump upgrade but being in Afghanistan for another month I have to wait to get em put on. I'll be waiting to see your results!

Just check them out on turners website. i got mine installed last week. I mean, i wasnt expecting much of a gain, and i installed these at the same time as my gruppe-m so it's hard to say if i gained anything. but the car seems to move out better in the higher rpms where those pullies are really spinning. only way to tell is a dyno and i'm waiting on my exhaust to get some dyno numbers.
